Michael was flown to Indiana, while food, lodging and travel expenses were arranged.

Judith Y. called hysterical that her 19 year old son has just been diagnosed with a tumor on his kidney. She knew to call the MRA. They had recommended a top surgeon for her a few years before, when she discovered a tumor on her thyroid. The MRA arranged to have the boy rushed to Westchester County Hospital. One of the foremost specialists in the country performed the surgery in just a few hours notice.

Upon visiting the doctor the boy was rushed for a CAT scan, which revealed an aneurism. The boy required immediate surgery. After two days in the hospital the boy returned home with his normal sight restored.

A frantic father called from upstate NY. His 6 year old son caught his hand in the mixer blade, while helping his mother bake cookies. The blade was imbedded in the child’s hand. The MRA arranged for a helicopter to airlift the child to a top notch hand surgeon in Mt. Sinai Hospital. After six grueling hours of surgery, the child’s hand was saved.
